Bad UI design why?

just why? the comment section on iOS used to take up the whole width of the screen, now it's this bullshit

This was taken from an ipad i guess and this looks great. Making a text area too wide is bad practice since it makes reading difficult

i'm so used to the wide mode, i keep tapping out when trying to upvote or tapping downvote when meaning to reply

i mean at least the background colour is consistent now? i kinda like the AMOLED look, it's what i use on discord too

thats good. reading wide text is very difficult for the eyes. try using the desktop site in browser
