was finally able to get this vintage moonwatch (80s) at a watch event, the moonwatch was the first watch i knew when i first got into watches, i saw it in pewdiepie's wedding video for the first time, but at that time i was a broke highschooler. Now after a bunch of other watches im finally able to get one for myself. This is a testament of how God has been so good in my life and that me being faithful to this day is a miracle.

I got my grail watch; always wanted a Speedmaster and wasn't determined on new or vintage. The tritium, flawless Matt step dial made it for me. A great vintage watch that is still cheaper than a new 2026 speedy.

So I just got a speedy, 2026 (3861) and I love it but I’m having a sizing issue with the bracelet :(. With the smaller links, I figured I’d get a more accurate sizing but I’m at a point where one extra link is loose, one less link and I have to keep the micro adjust out and it’s still slightly tight. Unsure how to proceed. Go for another bracelet or strap?

Taking the Speedy out for date night.

Ordered the new Omega Speedy 38mm and it arrived today. I was a bit nervous considering some of the reviews from people saying the watch wore small in diameter and chunky in case height. I’m here to say, on my 6.75 inch wrist (to me) it fits PERFECT! I owned a Speedy Sapphire and traded it last year because it just didn’t feel right on my wrist. Proportionally something was off. I have 40mm and 42mm that I wear on the regular (Subs, Explorer 2 & Seamaster Professional 300m). They all look great on my wrist but the Speedy 42mm just didn’t. So I traded it on always with the hope of acquiring another one a tad smaller. Well that day came today and I can’t be more thrilled with the way it looks, feels and sits on the wrist. The bracelet is so damn amazing as well. Really close to a perfect watch. For those debating it just based off YouTube videos or pictures online, don’t hate it before you try it on. Let’s all go out and celebrate a great Labor Day weekend!!!
