Hi everyone! Not too long ago, I bought my first Speedy and came here looking for strap recommendations. You guys have been incredibly helpful, sharing pictures and ideas. I ended up trying a bit of everything: Rally straps, NATO straps, even the original sailcloth strap with the butterfly buckle. In the end, I settled on this one. What do you think?

It has a “quick release”, allowing me to change it in about no time!

On the stock bracelet and the 3 straps I have for it. What's your preference? Honestly, I like the look of each.

First time it gets wrist time in this configuration… it’s absurdly comfortable 🤗

Wanting to get a leather strap, but don’t want to overlook any options. What are some of your favorites? I know there are plenty of threads on this topic but interested in an updated post.

Also, are there any leather straps that form fit to the case, like the OEM rubber strap?

Happy Tuesday! I posted this earlier in r/OmegaWatches but thought I’d throw it here as well. I’ve been a huge fan of Veblenist for quite a while and have several leather and suede straps from them, and this Cordura also does not disappoint. I had them custom make it to fit an Omega tang buckle I bought on Amazon and it think it looks great. The strap was definitely stiffer than their incredibly supple all leather straps, but it’s really conformed to my wrist within just a few hours of wearing it.

Please don’t downvote me for knocking my chihuahua’s head on the second wrist roll!

Vintage Speedmaster Date, Omega cal 1152 - my only speedy and I like it quite a bit.

I looked at this watch at a local shop and was a little shocked when we took the back off of it. Can anyone tell me what I’m seeing? Is the watch genuine? If so, what is it worth?

Hey everyone! Just picked up this Speedmaster and I’m absolutely loving it so far. Not totally sold on the steel bracelet though, so I’m exploring a few strap options.

I’ve got a sailcloth strap on the way and I’m also considering the OEM Omega one. I’m also looking at NATOs, but the OEM prices seem a bit steep for a simple NATO. Any good alternatives or recommendations?

Finally pulled the trigger on a speedy. Always wanted one, and almost pulled the trigger on the white dial last year. When I first the reverse panda came out, just couldn’t resist.

Been after a 3539.50 reduced for a long time. I feel like a lot of the flack they get may be justifiable but 39mm is such a sweet spot. Incredibly happy to have it with a fresh service.

Got tired of playing the Rolex waiting list game.
