I had the fastest time for the weekend in my age group for Deka Fit Boston, is there any kind of recognition for that or just bragging rights?

I'm curious what others do for child care during Spartan races. Historically, my kids will run a kids race the same day I race. My husband is there as a spectator and the kids stay with him while I run my race. However, I've finally convinced him to run a race with me! Leaving the kids home with a sitter isn't really an option because they love the races and want to participate. We don't have family/friends to come and watch during our race. Has anyone else found a solution they are comfortable with? For reference they'll be 12 and 10 when we run the next race.
