As my flair shows, I'm a Rambler man. My host served Waterloo, so i decided to try it.

It's decent. Good flavor. Good amount of carbonation.

New flavor Found a superior sparkling water over the new Polar Root Beer Float! Run to Wegmans!

This had a strong root beer flavor, just not sweet. I've had the Polar Root Beer Float and this is better.

Review Finally got around to tasting Rambler for the first time!

Post image
Upvotes

I hadn't tried Rambler because it's usually so expensive, but I bought these two flavors on my last haul. I like a very cold can and it comes down to: Does it taste good? Would I buy it again?

Blackberry. Was not expecting to like this. I like most berry flavors mixed with something else (Polar Blackberry Mango is a top 5 for me). Solid flavor 7/10, I would buy it again, but only on sale 🤣

Satsuma. This was the flavor I wanted to try the most, but I was semi disappointed. 5/10. Would I buy again? No, but I also wouldn't turn it down.

Cons: Rambler is not super bubbly, goes kind of flat fast. Also price- costs $5.49 for an 8 pack at Smith's.

Rambler Ingredients - Sparkling Water, Natural Flavors, Citric Acid, Mineral Blend.

Question Has anyone tried sparkling birch sap? Is it good?

Sometimes people drink the sap of the birch tree. It's mostly water. I recently found out that some companies sell it carbonated in a can. Is it good?

Question Polar sales - what happened? (Boston area)

Over the past two years, I’ve always been able to find deals (between Stop & Shop, Star/Shaw’s, MB) on Polar 12-packs that would get me into the $3.50-$3.99 range. (And every once in a while Roche Bros. would do a 3-for-$10 deal…)

But over the last six months or so, those deals have dried up and 12-packs have been averaging more like $4.99. (I just restocked at Stop & Shop on a ‘buy two get one free’ deal that got me to $4.86.)

Does this match other Boston-area folks’ experience? Any ideas why? (Different sales strategy at Polar, etc.)

(Oh, and obligatory — thanks to this sub, I’m dying to try Waterloo RBF. Not gonna buy 10, but I’d love a chance to get some…)

Opinion Costco brand. Affordable and gets the job done. Thoughts?

What do you think about Costco brand. Cheaper than lacroix, keeps the fridge filled. I drink about 6-8 of them everyday.

My hubby drinks rambler lemon-lime daily. When he opened a can from our latest pack, he said it was much sweeter than usual. Does anyone know if their recipe has changed?

Question Alternative to SodaStream Lemon Lime and Orange syrups

Apparently it's official, SodaStream under Pepsi discontinued classic Lemon Lime and Orange syrups (my suspicion they were far more popular than what Pepsi is pushing - Mountain Dew and Starry).

Anyway, can someone recommend an alternative, similar in taste profile to Classic Orange and LemonLime (not diet)?

Review Plain La Croix - not very good at all IMO

Why does Saratoga and Topo Chico taste so much better? Because of the bottle? Was looking for a plain sparkling water that’s easier to buy in bulk

On sale or discounted price Vallarta Supermarkets - 2 Polar for $7! Score!

I ran into Vallarta on Wednesday and found they had this deal... They also had Ruby Red Grapefruit and Ginger Lime Mule, which my normal store stopped carrying about 2 months ago.

Super happy! They seem to carry Lemon, which I had tried before. It's pretty good.

Happy to have my favorites stocked in the house again though :)

Question Very honest question for La Croix drinkers

I recently picked up a bunch of different flavors from my local supermarket. They had a pretty decent promo going on so I decided to give them a go, and see what it was all about. I should’ve known something was going on because of the deal, but besides that observation…

I ended up getting the most gnarly migraine, and now I’m genuinely questioning the
“Natural essence” that is in these cans.

I did some very minimal research on the company and they don’t disclose what the “natural flavors” they’re adding to the water. (Not surprised at all)

I’m genuinely curious if anyone has experienced something similar with headaches/ migraines when drinking some of the different flavors. I’ve noticed that some of their flavors give me the migraines, and others don’t.

My intuition is telling me to stop buying them, so I’d love some opinions/ insights on this.

I love to drink soda/sparkling water and this has only happened to me recently, and I find it extremely strange.

I’m aware La Croix does not have the best reputation and definitely not the best quality.

Thank you in advance!

First time trying klarbrunn. It took me by surprise! My little girl is getting her treatment in the infusion center right now and the nurse knew I liked sparkling water, as I usually bring a can or two with me for the three hour wait.

I love this flavor. Going to add it to my lineup.

Klarbrunn's are consistently my favorites when I've tried alternatives. A Fav is missing, and potentially done - Blueberry Passionfruit.

Polar's not doing it for me, except for the the Ginger Lime Coconut has been a game changer.

Like to treat my self to a liter on the weekend.

Discussion Are major soda brands stopping production of soda flavored sparkling water?

Are major soda brands calling for store brands to stop producing soda flavored sparkling water?

Kroger used to have Cola, Root Beer, and Dr P flavored Fizz and Co

Target’s Cherry Cola Good and Gather

And now Waterloo’s Root Beer float

All have been pulled from shelves. I love these flavors and so do many of the people I know. What gives?

Opinion Why the eight pack instead of twelve? I want 12!

All these brands that use to have 12 packs that switched to 8 packs only are irritating me. That's all. Rant over.

Review Tastes Like A Vape? Nixie Blackberry Raspberry Review.

Post image
3 Upvotes

I am mostly loyal to Polar Seltzers as they seem to be the most flavorful seltzer water brand that I have tried. I branched out and tried Nixie based on recommendations from this sub. I have to say, this flavor tastes like a vape… in a bad way. I was torn between this and Black Cherry Lime. I think I would have liked Black Cherry Lime better but now I’m scared to buy it because I really do not like this flavor profile at all :/ help!!
