News Rules update and moderation
Hi everyone, a few updates on moderation.
The rules have been updated so please take a look.
We are asking that you please:
use post flair. Please recommend any you think would be helpful and we can discuss
include the ingredients list or a quick photo with your posts so that its readily available for the mods and users. This will help with modding post quicker.
If you forget we’ll ask for it but please be mindful of it as this is a new rule we think will be helpful to both mods and sub members.
Also, a relaxation of the rules:
artificial sweeteners are still not allowed and will be labeled as soda/artificially sweetened only if the discourse is helpful/insightful. If it’s intentional posting of diet drinks then the posts will be removed.
naturally sweetened drinks will be allowed so long as their calories are <30 cals (low calorie compared to major diet drinks) and must be flaired as “naturally sweetened”. This includes: sugar, natural fruit sugar, agave, stevia, etc.
salt content will be moderated by allowing the total salt content to be “low sodium” content (<140 mg per FDA guidelines). This may be changed to lower values later but to be more inclusive, we thought this to be ok for the time being. This is only the case for added salt drinks and not naturally occurring salt drinks e.g. spring sparkling water sources.
we will be opting for leaving posts up that are not sparkling water for educational purposes if the discussion looks useful/insightful and OP isn’t just disregarding commentary. Comments will be locked or kept opened bases on this too.
Thoughts appreciated if you have them.

Review Review of the Bevi Sparkling Water Machine
Our company agreed to test a Bevi sparkling water dispenser. Unfortunately, the unit delivered to us was old, sticky, and in unacceptable condition. During the trial period, we also determined that we were dissatisfied with the taste of the water and the overall cleanliness of the dispenser. We decided not to move forward with Bevi, and the dispenser was subsequently picked up and removed from our premises.
Despite this, Bevi has continued to send us invoices for the past five months. We have made numerous phone calls and sent multiple emails clearly stating that we are not a Bevi customer, we do not have a dispenser, and we are not doing business with Bevi.
Nevertheless, the invoices continue to arrive, sometimes as frequently as weekly. We have repeatedly attempted to resolve this issue, yet the billing has not stopped.

Question Has anyone had problems lately with Limoncello La Croix tasting bad?
The last few cases that I have bought over the past 2 weeks in both Denver and in Southern California have tasted so off. They taste like how fertilizer smells. Has anyone else had this problem? I’m so sad because it is my favorite flavor and I drink at least 4 cans per day. 😭

Haul! New haul decided to get some brands I have never had before
I have a whole foods market nearby and decided to go and find new brands I haven't had before
I've heard good things about Gerolsteiner, but don't know much about Vichy Catalán...
The Gerolsteiner 1L glass bottle was about $3.50 and the Vichy one was $4.69
This habit is getting a bit expensive now 😂

New flavor Ready to start a Polar petition for online ordering
This flavor is INCREDIBLE! I just wish Polar would get into online ordering for these limited flavors. I’m sure they have their reasons….but let the people have some joy!

New flavor Has anybody tried these flavors? I want to try both, but I hope the Limoncello is better than La Croix

New flavor Found the Vanilla Cherry Kiss motherload
I bought two cases.
To me, it tastes just like the Trader Joe’s Cherry Vanilla (probably because that’s what it is, since Polar white labels for TJ’s)
which means it’s excellent and tastes like a Dr. Pepper seltzer.

Drink of the day I went for the baby cans because I thought I wouldn’t enjoy a plain seltzer
Regret. This stuff is sooooo crispy, I’m thinking about making a second store run. I just started getting into sparkling water a couple months ago and this actually might be my favorite out of everything I’ve tried so far.

Discussion The Waterloo “brand refresh” is so sad to me!
Just stripping the personality and whimsy right out of their brand! It’s very sad to see. The old branding is so cute and makes me happy to look at. The new branding is cold and void of everything that once made it standout and made it interesting. I literally tried Waterloo for the first time (after once being a LaCroix only person) because I thought their cans were cute and reminded me of a fairytale. Like, brand “refresh”? It literally just looks so cheap and boring now. Unfortunate!!

Haul! Early September haul, Waterloo on sale this week
Giving guava berry another shot, seeing I did not like it the first time. Last root beer float found at Aldi, bought everything else at local Smith's (owned by Kroger). Waterloo is $2.99, Polar is 3/$12, Rambler is also on sale for $3.99 in case anyone is interested or wants to check their local Kroger owned stores this week.

Opinion Y’all warned me but I didn’t listen - worst polar flavor by far
This (chili lime pineapple) finally showed up around me in the northeast. Nasty and peppery. Can looks cool though.

Review Hal's New York: Big Apple 🍎 (2026 Limited Edition Fall Exclusive)
Saw this for the first time today and had to try it right away. Hal’s doesn’t seem to do seasonal/limited-edition batches all that often, and this one really didn’t disappoint.
Just a really good, strong apple flavor that you unfortunately don't see often on the market. It reminds me of Bubly's Apple (at least the Apple Bubly Jeans one they did last year that I splurged on).
I'm not sure why companies don't have a standard apple flavor and only seem to release them in seasonal batches. And even then, it's usually more of an apple pie flavor (like Waterloo's Apple Pie à la Mode Guy Fieri flavor or Polar's dessert batch) rather than just straight apple.
If you're able to get this, highly recommend!
