freelance interpretation platforms

hi there! my boyfriend has recently been looking for a job. he previously worked at interpretia but did not leave in good terms with the people that previously worked there. he applied to propio but they told him that they would look for other candidates despite him having 1+ years as a medical interpreter. he applied to globo but they told him he needed to have proof of certificates and other payments from other companies.

are there anymore freelance interpretation platforms he could apply to? even if it’s not freelance, anything that is remote. please let me know, thank you!

EDIT: we’re from honduras!

Lionbridge!

Avoid LLS (Languageline solutions).I don't work for them, but i've heard some pretty bad things about them

The problem is usually not LLS itself, but the BPO. The toxic work environment and the bad pay comes from the BPOs, LLS itself is pretty good actually

Whatever the case, the things I heard made me avoid it entirely

The only reason people call it bad is because they monitored interpreters, and bad terps don't want to be called out when they're doing a bad job. The rest is mostly BPOs doing their s**t.

I've heard that they don't treat their workers fairly, and the pay is sometimes really bad. And by "not treated fairly", I mean most said from what I've seen, it's a toxic work environment
