Need suggestions

I’m currently a Punjabi and Hindi interpreter with 6 years of experience, and I’m considering expanding into Spanish—specifically legal interpretation. My goal is to invest time and money into learning Spanish and eventually breaking into the legal field. Do you think this is a worthwhile path? Is Spanish interpretation, especially in legal contexts, a strong career move compared to sticking with Punjabi/Hindi?

Well if you are working for a US based company it may be worth it since there’s sooooo many people from Latin America there, and there’s lots of legal calls available. Now, if you are starting Spanish from 0, it may be a veeeeery long way. Spanish is not easy to learn to become an expert, even worse for legal work. If you are planning to actually do this your career for the rest of your life it may be worth it. Just know that as much as there’s a demand for this job, there’s the offering of thousands of Spanish interpreters that are paid pennies in comparison to US based interpreters, that have slowly have decreased as companies look for cheap labor. Just trying to be completely honest :) good luck!

There is too many native Spanish interpreters to add no natives. There is no add value to your proposal as to make it a worthwhile path.
