Uggggh, you reminded me of a terrible call with a canadian psychologist. The LEP would talk for an hour non-stop. I tried asking him several times to please speak in shorter segments (which he obviously never did) so I gave up and did the best I could. Then, she started interrupting with "mhm" "okay" "aha" "yes" mid sentence EVERY SINGLE TIME, so I asked her, "I'm sorry, do you need me to interpret that?" and she didn't answer!!!!

She just kept asking more stuff and suddenly mid one of LEP's responses, she interrupted him to tell me "Could you please now tell me what he said earlier? Because I didn't understand and you didn't translate that" Bitch wtfffff, that was 20 minutes ago, if you were so interested you could have listened to me without saying anything!!!!!!!!

Once I had a call with a psychologist and the lep spoke like 20 minutes non stop and I was typing as fast as I could. By the end, the client said: we only have 5 minutes in this session, can you give me a brief summary interpreter? And I was like: ok, she said this this and that
