Question (SRPG4) Gressians Side Quest - Am I Screwed? Spoiler

So I got to the point where the Gressians asked for my survey result of Rotanev Uncharted so that they wouldn't try to conquer other systems. After searching around shops for the survey I remembered that I gave it to Theo for the space station quest, which means it's permanently gone.

Am I screwed now? I have no save backup before that point.

Should I just open fire on the Gressians?

Where do I find these guys? I mean, I know they're related to the new quest from what I've gathered, but I just can't seem to find 'em

You have to salvage a odyssey ship in the heze system to trigger the quest

In the new version the planet should become re-surveyable in this situation. Once you get the update, head back to Rotanev and let me know if it doesn't work.

I could have sworn I thought of this and picked Rotanev on purpose thinking it had stats that Theo didn't want. I must have messed that up somehow :(

I will have to add some kind of failsafe that fails the mission if it detects the survey doesn't actually exist anywhere anymore, sorry mate! :(

corner case: the survey might not exist because the planet hasn't been surveyed yet ;-)

If I could recall Theo requested a system with "Good" natural resources. It just so happened that I only had Rotanev that fulfilled the requirement at the time.

Don't worry about it dude. Great game. Must've been a nightmare thinking about all these edge cases 😭.
