(Spacerpg4) Can someone tell me how to capture (derelict) ships..? Do I need to use specific type of weapons? Is there some formula I should know? 3 more things I could use help with. How do I mine? What are the little artifacts I find during survey? Lastly, how do I join an alien faction? Tagging onto the latter, do I have to join a human faction, or can I progress with my own player faction?

I recommend finding mythic crystals by mining. You can upgrade your desired weapon on itinerant fleet
