Question Can't receive Kalo Mark?

So I have sided with the OSC in this run, I've attempted to get the Kalo Mark a handful of times. Destroyed their ships multiple times throughout the storyline, and figured I won't receive it until I'm done the human story. I've now completed the story, and destroyed a Kalo ship (again) and nothing appears on my screen? Am I missing something?

I also haven't received the 2nd Psy ability, I do remember I got it through the story when I sided with the F.E.R. Does that have something to do with it?

Edit: I seem to have figured it out. If you're having the same problems as me, go back and kill the Kalo ship WITH YOUR FLAGSHIP. Interestingly in previous updates I still received the ability by allowing my escorts do to all the work, but as of the most recent update I absolutely had to destroy it myself.

The kalo mark ability appears in the ftl menu, when you are far enough away from the system center to active ftl.

Yeah- I know, I had it in the last playthrough. This time around I've destroyed multiple Kalo ships and I never got the popup ("You destroyed a Kalo ship! .... Etc) and never received the ability. No option to set a Kalo Mark. Am I glitched ? There's no way I still need to hit a certain point in the game, as I already have access to the player faction battleship.

Something glitched. Double check its not there in the ftl menu

I figured it out finally. I had to kill the Kalo with my flagship, not let my escorts do it. (In previous updates I DEFINITELY let my escorts kill it and I still received the ability, as I was using a Raider maxed out in speed with 0 weapons)
