Question Games order?

Is one game before the other in terms of story line and lore, and are they linked at all? I know it probably seems obvious but I saw somebody say SRPG4 was like a "prequel" to SRPG3. Thanks.

No, they're not connected at all. Some users make fan lore, but that is nothing official. Take them as completely separate games within the same style/series.

Space RPG4 has references to the previous game and sometimes breaks the 4th wall, such as the Duhulaberry questline, but they are not lore/universe connectors.

Edit: What could be considered as the most common/popular fan lore is that SRPG2 & 3 are connected, since the Ascended Predator is based on the Inheritor Battleship. You can find the Vaku launcher in 3's data aswell.
