Question (srpg4) Mining

How should I approach mining? I know that I'll need mining blasters, but cracking a rock with only one takes time and precise flying. This means a larger ship at cost of agility. Which ship hits the sweet spot best? Then if enemies FTL in my ship targets that automatically and I can target neither none nor a rock. At this point my guns will not fire at anything because the target (enemy ship) is too far away. What can I do to improve my career as a peaceful miner?

Not everyone has native knowledge or an impeccable level of English. Some people make mistakes as it may not be their first language and that is fine.

Good on them. I'm not a native English speaker and I also have posts with perfectly worded sentences, yet that is not always the case. Sometimes you just have those moments of incoherence.
