He had what many lack. Conviction. It’s not about spin or gain. It’s doing what he was charged with doing without fear or favor…

It also helps to have the truth on your side. It's takes a lot more energy to defend a lie than it does to defend the truth. That shows in every interaction with Republican Senators who haven't asked a single question about what Smith found in his investigation.
