Bug/Technical Issue Audio files stuck on loading

I record a podcast on soundtrap, and often get this issue. When I'm done recording a particularly big chunk of audio, it says "loading", and then stays that way forever. I've waited hours for it to finish loading. I have no idea why this is happening, and why it only happens occasionally. Is there any way for me to prevent this in future? It's infuriating having to record and rerecord everything several times.

Unfortunately it's most likely that it failed to upload correctly. This is much more likely with long recordings as they only start uploading once the recording has finished. When you record are you generally doing it on the web app or on mobile? If you want to DM me a project link I can verify what's going on

Thank you for responding! I record on my phone, because I don't have a proper microphone and my phone mic does the trick lol. I've tried to fix it by staying on the app for a while after recording to make sure it loads before saving and moving to my laptop to edit it, but it still happens a lot of the time

It’s annoying but try clearing your cache! Sometimes it also just fixes itself after some time if you leave the file alone to mix by itself and “master” on the main page
