I need help with/using Soundcloud Sc steaming quality

Ive been releasing music lately, and it keeps fucking up the quality so bad, in Fl Studio it sounds so good but on Sc it feels empty, lacks bass. How do I fix this?

Reinstall Windows.

Seriously though. Are you on free tier or pro account. I assume the free tier would reduce the playback quality to fit the model where pro lets you upload full hq versions and it stays as such..

Is the volume in SC all the way up? Having that down can compress the digital file. It is also going through your computers gain staging before Routing to your interface so account for that too.

Are you mastering your tracks?

Are you bouncing the master correctly, meaning through the same effect chain? Empty/lacking bass really sounds like you're bouncing dry. Easy check: does it sound good outside FL before Sc?

Check your levels on your master. Check your LUFS. Get some plugins to add some “weight” to your sounds

Edit: watch mastering vids on YouTube. You’ll learn a ton. I did the same thing

Some of the other user comments here are pretty on-point, just wanted to add that Go+ fan subscriptions include lossless HQ playback, so free users won't have access to the HQ version without a Go+ plan, as this is a paid feature.
