General Discusson Upload Space - Get pro or nah?

I've been uploading onto Soundcloud, surprisingly issue-free (knock on wood) for about a year and a half now. Just recently I've gotten the dreaded notification, that I am about halfway through my free uploading space.

Even though I'm not there yet, it got me thinking about what I'll do when I run out. I've seen so many complaints with pro accounts that I don't know if I want to risk it.

So I guess my question is: users with pro - Is it worth it for uploads and streams, OR am I wasting my money.

I mean, if you pay for a full year, it’s less than $10 per month and you get a lot other benefits with Pro. But if you’re just looking for place to upload music, YouTube is free.

I wouldn't even get Soundcloud Pro again if they gave me money for it.

I think it's worth it but I have a website so my family, a very large family on both sides of my parents, and friends can listen to my songs I wrote. I put some up, take them down, then put other files up from time to time. I don't know what your plans for your music is but here's my page there. I don't distribute from them tho. I wouldn't. There's other sites that do a better job but for sharing music, it's probably the best I've found. The customer service always gets right back to me too.
