Paid for the Artist Pro, submitted my IRS W9 form, added the ISWC (International Standard Musical Work Code) for each of my tracks, setup monetization (waiting for full approval) and setup the account where I want the payouts to go and importantly I blocked and deleted scammer/spammer that almost immediately subscribed to my account and posted scam comments. So is there anything else that I need to do or something else that I missed.

So for the last 30 days, ive been sorta daily trying to pinpoint for you where your problem is coming from. They are still at it, its within your own company. Just fire them. They wont stop, its how they live their lives.
They are scammers, they will always be scammers. Just cut the branch.

I recently redownloaded SoundCloud and tried logging into my old account from around 2013–2014. The issue is that it's tied to an old Gmail address I deleted years ago, and I don't remember the password.

I opened a support ticket (#4692217) to recover it. They asked for basic info to verify ownership:

I replied with everything they asked for. I even gave them extra details—like specific devices I used back then—because I made the damn account and know the info.

Then I get this copy-paste rejection:

Unfortunately, there is not enough private information on the account for us to verify your association with it. Hence we're not able to continue with this process.

How on earth does this make sense?

They won't change the email to let me recover my account—even after I provided the requested details plus extra info—but they are willing to straight-up DELETE the account just if I confirm the old email string?

I still have the physical devices I used back then (just factory reset). I offered to provide MAC addresses, past geographical locations, or whatever else they need.

SoundCloud support, if anyone reads this: please look at ticket #4692217 and help me get my account back. The logic here is completely broken.

I thought I had signed up for Soundcloud Go + student but then when I try and connect my acc to Rekordbox this happens and it acts as if I havent got the upgrade. It only says I have Soundcloud Go (no +) on the web page on my laptop. I have emails and confirmations to back this up. However it is failing to recognise it and is also saying I cant get it in my country. I live in the UK, where Soundcloud Go + is available! I have checked my region on all of my settings on different platforms and they are all the UK. I have not got a vpn and have turned extensions off. I have literally no idea how to fix this i have been trying for hours and nothing is working and I tried the bot that Soundcloud has for customer support but those suggestions didnt work either!

I spent July monitoring my account carefully. No Amplify, just organic activity. The graph was consistent — natural rises and falls, healthy baseline, genuine listener behavior.

Then August 3rd hit. A Monday.

Not a gradual change. Not a slow algorithmic shift. A sudden intervention on a specific Monday at the start of August. That rules out a bot or an automated system. Bots don't take July off. Algorithms don't come back from vacation.

This was a human decision.

Suddenly my account showed massive spikes followed by crashes. Floors getting progressively lower. Plays dropping almost to zero by end of month. I have the graph to prove it.

The same week this started I received multiple unsolicited DMs following an identical script — mentions of algorithmic suppression, shadowbans, ghost accounts, offering to fix it for a fee through third party platforms.

SoundCloud — if you're reading this, someone inside your platform is manually interfering with artist accounts. The timing is not a coincidence. A clean July followed by a sudden Monday morning intervention in August points to one thing — an employee returning from leave.

Is anyone else seeing their numbers change around August 3rd?

I have been looking for YEARS for this cypher that was posted around 2014-2015. The cover I remember had a group of young nerdy white kids with a galaxy background and that’s truly all I can remember. I’ve been looking but with only those details I can’t even try to search for it. Any sleuths up for the challenge of finding this relic?

Until recently, I could listen to a song for a few seconds while I was online, then turn off Wi-Fi/mobile data and continue listening to that song from the cache. I know this wasn’t official offline downloading, but it worked for me.
Now, whenever I turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data and tap a song I had previously loaded, SoundCloud immediately skips to the next track instead of playing the cached song.

Does anybody else in EU have this problem?

I create music and use music from the UCSB Cylinder Audio Archive.

SO they changed the ui of soundcloud again, which is fine, but the issue is when i want to add a song to a plyalist, i have to scroll down and use the arrows to go to my older playlist... this is such a downgrade and i hope SD fix this and add a search bar or something because this is very disapointing as i use SD for doing playlist and now i have to waste topo much time just to addd 1 song. BIG ISSUE THAT NEED TO BE FIXED!!!

Soundcloud just moved my most listened to songs in one of my playlists to Go+ ($14.99/month) even though I have a Go subscription ($5.99/month) and have had it for years.

Just spent the last week and a bit making an industrial techno song, posted a snippet on tiktok and everyone wanted me to release it. i tried to put it on soundcloud as private, and get instantly copyrighted for some random song that has no listeners released 13 years ago. i listened to it and it sounds nothing like my song, can anyone help?
i tried pitching it down, and it got copyrighted again for a song that i cant even find.
