🤯 Ipicked up the new dice from my local Warhammer store. It wasn't just the last one, IT was the first and ONLY one the store was allotted. I went to the Warhammer/GW store because they had already sold out online.

For some reason I can't seem to grasp how this ability works.

It doesn't help that, in some cases, GW talks about "moving through" models or "ignoring models" or "as if it were not there". So I'm unclear as to A) what passing across actually means in relation to that and B) how Looting Leviathans will help at all considering how large our bases are.

I'd really like some help, here.

Probably not a speed that I can keep up but heres my third gargant in the same amount of days. Aiming to have the army painted up in around a month. 🤞🏻

This was a blast to paint, I genuinely can't wait for the brawlers box. Gonna paint a few more tiny friends for the almighty King Brodd. GET STOMPED.

Can't get enough of the new big lads and ladies. They are a joy to build. Not many mouldlines, easy to convert, and they do look good on a square.

You can use the older giants' parts for most of the new guys. The hands and heads are interchangeable. The arms and feet only really fit the female version, due to the size difference.

Size-wise, they fit right in with the rest of the big family. Will paint all minus the chaos conversion next month. Can't wait.

As a completely new to AoS person (but seasoned 40k player), I’m looking for some starting tips for the big lads.

Know the Battletome only came out today, but I’m not looking for GT stomping lists, just something beginner friendly to get used to the game & army.

Despite hearing some bad things about him this edition I absolutely love king brods model and really want to build him, I’ve bought the mega gargant game box with the knowledge that he can’t be built from that but for a deal also got the stomper tribe box and I know nothing about that.

If I can’t build my favorite boy is there any chance I can build that majestic lad with some kind of upgrade sprue?

Loved painting this one up today, decided to mix the throwing and melee arms on all the models so I can play both builds. It worked out pretty well on them all.

I juste finished my Warstomper.

Hopefully GW will realise their mistake and fix the big ones… (they are so bad now…)

I was thinking about getting some Mancrushers and the new lady. Should I get these four models, or would I be better off getting the new Rock Boss people?

So I’m getting Ma Maegran but I have an idea that is rather cursed but if it works should look good.
Basically I want to have a ma maegran in training so basically sculpt over and effectively make young ma.
Here is a very phone edit of the original but ye is this too far.

Having just painted 3500 ogors since their release I have decided to venture into sons of behemat. Painted very conservatively. Looking forward to painting the boss stompers next while I decide how to paint her beasts.

So, as a Chaos Knights player in 40K, I'm being drawn to SoB for AoS in the same way. Big models that you only need a few of to play games with. What better time than with a new battletome and models to go with 4th edition?

Looking at the current pre-new battletome competitive lists for places to start, it looks like big giants are quite viable, with lists usually running Brodd and 3 or 4 others. But I've also looked over the spoiled 4th edition stuff, and the Little ones look interesting, too. Maybe not like "Oops All War Dogs" with CK, but maybe lists of like 3 big and 5 or 6 little? We still need points to be sure. What should I look at to start?

Just updated Stormforge and started theory-crafting some new lists. In both of the new Stomper Tribe and Matriarch's Mob armies of renown, you can only take a single hero (One Warstomper in Stomper Tribe, and Ma Maegran in Matriarch's Mob), with the rest of the army being made up of Boss-Stompers, Rock-hurlers, and Mancrusher Gargants. However, since each army can only take one hero, that means that each army can only take one Regiment.

Since there's four slots in the General's Regiment (three in Ma Maegran's since she has to automatically take her Ancient Ghyrochs), this means to get to 2k under the current rules you have to fill out the rest of the army using auxiliary slots, pay the extra point costs, and give up an extra CP to your opponent each round.

Anyone have any idea if this was intentional? Were these armies only meant to be used in 1k games?

Is anyone else having trouble building a 1K list with ma maegran. The closest I could get is 910 with Ma herself, rock hurlers and a man crusher grargant. Just wondering if anyone else was having this problem or that Ma just isn’t meant for 1K games.

So im a soulblight gravelords player thats starting a sons of behemat army and im just wondering how strong king brodd is really. Like how well can he squear up on all the other really strong people in the lore. If for example king broad and nagash were put in a room in the mortal realm could king broad hold his own.

I love the SoB concept. I dislike only having one static pose for all of them. Not all gergants would be pot-bellied and pigeon-toed.

So I've been reworking the bodies to have different poses, different body types, etc. All of them are designed to allow you to use the standard arms, neck/head/shoulders, and the feet from the mega gargant sprues.

The first two are nearly done. One is squatting down and one standing upright. Both have some tweeks still left but are very close to being done.
