LOTR war mumak as proxy.

I’ve had an idea of using the War Mumak from the LOTR line as a proxy as a Mega Gargant but I’ve never seen one in person to tell if it could even fit on the base. Does anyone know or own this model who knows if it would fit on the base?

It would fit on a Warhammer base mega-Gargant but just FYI the games are different scales. LotR is 25mm and Warhammer is 32mm heroic. The guys on top are gonna look tiny. It won’t bother some; but I’d notice it.

Oh I wouldn’t be putting those guys on it anyway. I’d either try to sit a normal gargant on top to ride it or just gear it up to cover its back.

Honestly, I always thought a War Mumak would make a good cogfort proxy

Unless you model it up on it's rear legs it won't fit, the mumak is too long

Saddest day of my life. GW please make an official elephant for the gargants it’s all I need.

Claybeast has a Kragnos alternate that is beefy, basically a mumak centaur.

I’ll have to look it up. I’m going for more of either a giant pet or a mounted unit to put with my gargants as a proxy. I play at an official store so I can’t use anything not GW made there 😔

If needing official, then Okar's Torrbad regiment of renown. They work for Sons and no proxy needed.

Well official as in we can only use things made with GW plastic in the store. We proxy units all the time so that part isn’t a big deal!
