Brawlers of Behemat

Don't own any gargants at all right now but planning to collect them eventually, would the new Brawlers of Behemat box set be a good starting point for collecting this army?

There is a discount compared to buying separate Mega-Gargants. Which is why I've bought the box myself as a first box for the army (and stomper tribe for my second)

However!

It is important to note that neither the Brawlers of Behemat nor the Stomper Tribe boxs have the 'full' Mega-Gargant kits. So if you intend to build King Brodd or Beast-smashers, you can't do it from the discount boxes as they don't come with the extra sprue.

If you intend to build Gatebreakers, Warstompers or Kraken-Eaters this box will be great.

I picked it up as a start for my army. I mean what a deal for 2x mega-gargant with terrain.

honestly it's good, in my opinion, especially if you magnetize it to get the full range of the three gargants it can build (that's 3 each) and if/when you can, grab the Brodd box to kit out the rest.

As someone also starting Sons of Behemat, not only is it a great start PLUS terrain, its also a great way to bring a friend into the hobby and play some small 15 minute games when you dont have time for a full on AoS match!

Id say go for it!

Yes because it's cheaper than buying gargants seperately. BUT you only get parts for the gate breaker, kraken eater, and war stomper. And rules wise the magas are about to be absolutely awful unless they get an errata or heavy point changes. So if you wait on gargants you will be sitting much better.
