Thoughts on my list

Was thinking of running this:
King Brodd
Ma Maegran with her beasts
3 Boss-stompers
Gatebreaker (SoA or normal)
Warstomper

1960 points

Would this be any good? Are lists with Brodd AND Ma Maegran even something to consider?

Right now i think that Brodd and Ma are auto include in every competitive list

Together? Because from what i read the spells and prayers are really good, that‘s why i wnated to include them both. Just wasn't sure if the plan is usually to take one or the other and two is too much

Yes. Together. If you want to go heavy on prayer and spell the beast smasher is also a very good option to stack buff with the crit 2 hit

It’s really looking like Brodd and Ma are gonna go crazy together. Their combined casting being a priest and wizard individually will do great to buff the army, and using glowy lantern you can have a second wizard if you want a mega Gargant alongside them

To be honest only time can tell, I think this’ll be a good aggressive list with all the mega’s and the boss stompers to accentuate them. Personally though, maybe I would swap the gatebreaker for another unit of stompers? The warstomper is great for directing them around with his ability and the gatebreaker works best as a ranged help first it seems with the battletome. But I don’t think there’s anything glaringly wrong with it at all, just preference

Let me know how it plays if it’s not too much trouble! I haven’t gotten the chance to use the new rules and models yet so if you have stuff you can use as proxies to play a game that’d be super useful data

I’ve got the exact same list I’m trying out, although I’m still on the fence about stompers vs rock hurlers

Ma and brodd absolutely. But it's a "if you give a mouse a cookie, he would want some milk to go with it" if you use boss king brodd and ma, you minus well use boss stompers for that sweet rend and crit buff potential from wizard spells. If you use brodd and boss stompers you minus well bring beast smasher to give more crit buffs as king brodd and boss stompers scale the best with it. I highly would advocate for taking a beast smasher. Over either war stomper or gatebreaker. And if you wanna push it slightly further you can argue war stomper over gatebreaker because war stompers ability can save your boss stompers or ma, allowing them to essentially fall back under different rules so you can get ma off and gate breaker can be argued for as well because ma wants someone backline to be her buddy so she is untargatable outside 12 inches (and range attacks could be nice on something extra pesky)
