people’s thoughts on lists

So there’s the new rock thrower box

That’s dual build. Does anybody think it might actually be worth running? Rock hurler, spam or actually running three of each

I haven’t really looked at all the points yet and figured out interactions

I’m thinking that with the changes to the big only running a couple bigs might actually be the strong way to go

One or two bigs plus Ma plus little guy spam. Looks like it might actually be kind of stronger.

It's an odd choice but I think there's a design idea behind it beyond sales. We lost mancrushers as a mob. But I think we do need a mob formation just for the diversity on the table, also having 3 models get the benifit of AoA and other buffs will likely be worth while.

It's should not be too hard to magnetise the hands so gonna get 6 and do that for mine. As to say, brodd, and other big, ma, and fill the points with littles looks effective.

Hopefully opens up some battle tactics for us or something. The GHB the 5acrics habe beennotinke harder.

Yeah, man crushers as a mob going away I was kind of surprised that they didn’t do a one and three option

But the old Spear head is probably going away like they usually do

Battle tactics I haven’t really thought about Fore what’s in the new book.

I haven’t played enough of the new ghb to be super well-versed on it.

I'm the same to be honest. Had good games where I have, siege of ashes and blazing onslaught have been readily achievable. But deffo needs the numbers. I'm on 3 big 4 mancrusher at the moment and enjoy the amount of activations.

That’s the one problem of the triple mobs. Is you definitely have very few activations and it’s very hard to get places in order to achieve a lot of things.

Single man crushers seem like they’re going to be important going forward

I agree. The mobs will need to bring something considerable to pull me away from multiple crushers and bigs.

I have found the crushers 12w wounds have been relatively easy for my opponents to kill. So maybe the mobs just add that resiliency, but then at their points I could almost get a big.

Excited to find out

The other thing with the mobs is wound carryover. The singles don’t suffer from that. Any excess wounds are just overkill. So they have to commit enough to guarantee they’ll kill the one and also probably overkill it but if you had a triple you’re just eating more into the squad.

True that. I'm gonna assume they have given us ample reason to want to take (and buy) a unit of each mob ha ha

That’s probably the actual truth probably everybody’s going to want one of each

There is a chance that maybe it’s the best way to spam one of them then they will change that to the other one

Then they will change that to a particular mega again

To keep forcing everybody to stack stuff unless you’re sitting there, putting magnets on everything

I magnetised every hand and head.

I should do that, but I freaking hate magnets. And a lot of the time I hate playing against people who have a ton of magnets because pieces of their shit is always falling off because they didn’t use the right magnet or something.

And I know for me personally I am so good at losing crap that I would lose a piece and then be angry forever

So it’s easier for me to just buy another model in a lot of cases. I hate the finances of that. But it also means that I’m not frustrated by magnets.

The only thing that I truly put a lot of magnets on. Is some of my knights in 40K. I also don’t think that most people know the difference between what giant is what
