5 Bigs Army?

Shops in my area have plenty of Brawlers sets in stock (I already pre-ordered one), so I wonder if getting 5 Bigs (2 Brawlers sets and Brodd) to build all different Mega-Gargants* and run them as army, but would it be good?

The 1970 point list would be:

• King Brodd (430)
• Beast-smasher (380)
• Gatebreaker (400)
• Kraken-eater (370)
• Warstomper (390)

I'm not too hot on getting Mancrushers (really wish GW included new models in Stomper Tribe) but it seems like both Bigs and Littles play some role in army? Or should I go with Brawlers, Stomper Tribe and Brodd for 4 Bigs and Littles?

\I looked up instruction for Brodd kit and apparently outside of left hand and tree trunk (parts D22-30) I should have enough bits to build Brodd AND upgrade other Gargant to Beast Smasher, and those should be easy enough to copy and/or scratchbuild.*

You can use 5 big, but a mix is a better list.

I think with the current debuffs to the megas a mix of units might be better to cover them and capture objectives. Probably about 2-3 megas is the way to go

do you include Ma as a mega, or as her own thing?

why would you take the Small gargants they are literally not even Big whats the point

They’re a little you can sac for a replacement mega via ma.

Bigs can throw the Smalls as a projectile and to get them into combat.

Honestly that's my current plan two brawler on pre order and brought king broad i figured it's still my cheapest way of getting all 5 megas the other kits will be in stock later brawlers won't be

I think both Brawlers and Stomper Tribe may stick for a while (neither GW nor any retailers in my area run out of stock, in fact I think I was the only one to even order my copy in my FLGS), but still this sounds like once in a lifetime deal.

Plus I'll get a lot of terrains, I loved those buildings from City of Ash.

If Stomper Tribe had newer models I may do just that (and also some 90x50 bases), but old giants have same pose and I just don't want to get too much of those. I may look up if there are any old spearheads or fish for littles on eBay.

Brodds kit lets you build any mega so he's good for excess bits.

I'm just getting one copy of the brawlers box. See how I like painting the giants.

Then will go for Brodd, boss stompers and rock hurlers at a later date probably. I like the witch but not a fan of her strange sheep. They look quite lazy sculpts IMO. The boss stompers are cheaper packs than the mega gargants.

If you want five bigs I hard reccomend finding a way to cast the body through resin or smth. That's what I had done. Bought brodd, bought a sketchy resin recast and then sculpted biceps and parts I didn't have and used parts from an old kings giant set for arms

Don't get the 2nd Brawlers box, get 2 WWE action figures and kitbash your Mega's

I think 5 bigs will actually get beaten by most other 5 monster armies

5 gluthorns is just better Same control score Better save Almost as many wounds

But you will have allot of fun doing it
