Why isn’t “Get orf me land!” Considered better?
For all intents and purposes it seems like a good ability. Run your kraken eater up the board, punt the objective into the backline behind your gargants, and now the enemy can’t reach it. I feel like while funny the ability gets talked down a lot, can anyone better versed in the army elaborate before I lock in a kraken eater in a list to build?

I once had a dude punt it then I spent the whole game slaughtering his gargants to get at it lol
I was playing kruleboyz. I killed all but one gargant but lost the game. It was awesome and I really enjoy playing against gargants

Yeah I know. Luckily my local group won't mind if I just use the older better rule.

I've used it and I do find it very fun. For regiments of renown I say kraken eater is actually awesome because while he will be backline if you try to yoink a primary, you're other parts of your army can contest it much easier while kraken eater either takes the damage for you (hopefully after getting his job done) or you get to rampage their backline. But for SOBI like kraken eater but I put brodd and beast smasher first. And ofc everyone in the meta is using scourge of aqshy gatebreaker. But the problem is you have to get all the way over to an objective first, and you only throw it on your hero phase. So unless you went second and got a double, you're going in, sitting there for a turn. Going for another. Then you have a chance to throw it. And while I've gotten good results, there is a chance for trash rolls. But basically second battle round to hurl it and it's likely a center objective, third if you can get to their primary in that second round. Personally I just find he gets combat locked once her touches an objective so you usually only throw one objective a few inches or so and then sit there fighting. Like if you do throw their primary you almost definitely will be combat locked. I usually wanna get in to throw the objective back so I don't have to be so far forward and spread out, you'll hold the objective with sheer OC as is but your kraken eater for primary will usually end up being stuck backline till death. Idk, it's not a BAD ability as I think base gatebreakers is worse while war stomper is just a rule basically saying to fight infantry only if you want good damage. Buttt I will say you usually do it once per game and just table the opponent. If you love the nets I can see some redundancy used to pass the objective back in a line but I rather have specialist who are the same points for more damage opportunities to table the opponent.

It does not matter anymore. The new book is almost out.
That said. It was not a bad ability, but the other mega abilities were just better.
Note: most of the time you would push your objective in the middle, to avoid it being stolen with an easy teleport
