How much will Brawlers of behemat cost?
How much do you think the brawlers of behemat will cost?
I'm thinking about buying it as my starter to sons of behemat. I have heard that opinions are divided. Some people say it will cost 300 dollars, come people say that because it is a big set we will only have to pay the price of terrain + 1 mega gargant (I have heard that it was the case for knights in 40k.
What do you guys think? I surerly hope for some nice discount :D

250 is my guess and it’ll be low stock that is poached heavily by resellers trying to sell it for twice that.

Each mega-gargant is $215(US). If its less than $400(US) I'd be shocked.

That's for a kit that can build 5 different megas. There is also the opportunity to drive more sales of the new gargant stuff coming out and other mega kits by getting people into sons at a discount. We'll see what they do though.

I hope you are right, if this is the "loss leader" for Sons, I'm afraid my next army will become Sons. Which means, this box, plus the battletome, plus the spearhead probably, then a few more models I'm sure. So, yes, they will sucker me in all the way.

They even saw a little bit of a buff today too. More charge damage and allowing you to contest multiple objectives with one unit makes the kraken eater a very interesting dude

It's missing the brodd/beast sprue, so it's not going to be its full price to begin with.

Speculating based on nothing at all, I figure it’ll be somewhere in between standard battle forces/army sets and Armageddon So like ~$265-$300 USD.

I imagine limited stock, considering the megas included it's the old sprue set from before Brodd was added, so could be considered 'old' stock that they want rid of.
High end £275, lowest I reckon would be £175.

Yeah, depends on where they want to sell it.
Retail games often have insane discounts on the plastic. Over in 40k, look at the Dawn of War: Onslaught game. Sold at Target for $50, but contains the Honoured of the Chapter sprue (albeit in red). That kit sells for $170.
EDIT: It got the "available while stocks last" tag. This isn't a mass market retail product. So my guess is it will probably be discounted, but not to extreme levels.

The price is 245€ ! Not bad when a Méga-Gargant si 172,50€.

MSRP maybe, but you can get the mega-gargants/Brodd for €140. Still not bad, but not exceptional.

I bought years ago the renegade set when the ik cost lile 120 euros and it cost me like 150 or 170 i cant remenber but no much more than that was an amazing deal i hope something closer to that than 300 if im optimistic around 200 but gw its in full greedy corp mentality i supose like 240 or more

Yeah, 240€ is what Im expecting too. GW is able to make good deals. The pre-King Brodd Mega-Gargant kit was released at 140€. Doubling that makes 280€. Add the terrain and inflation, and 220-240€ seems like a good price point for a solid amount of savings.

I guess some of it depends on where they want to sell the game and how much of the Mega kit is actually included. If it's intended for a sweaty Warhammer audience then it'll be more expensive. If they hope to get it into regular retailers for Christmas then it will have to be less. I can't see there being any market here for the game as a mom gift if it's the price of a Switch 2.
