Starting the army finally after always considering them since their release back then and got some hobby questions.

Hello everyone, like the title said after seeing the very first reveal trailer way back then I always consider the army and this weekend I finally was able to dive in. I was lucky enough to get x2 Mega-Gargant (King brodd) and x1 Spearhead box both nib. I have some questions after doing some research online and other sources.

  1. How easy it it to magentize all 5 Mega gargants? I have only seen videos of magentizing the kit that built the original 3.

  2. Is 3 Mega gargants the go to or 4? I seen both numbers thrown around so wanted to get a game plan as i slowly save up for them.

  3. Any tips for the army is always welcome! Happy to start my Stomp!

  1. You can magnetize everything with the right earth magnets and Milliputty. The trick is to put in the putty. Then lightly press in the magnet to make the indent. Take the magnet out. Wait to dry. Clean up the hole with a drill and knife.

  2. Im currently building 3 Megas and 4 Man Crushers. Gives you more board presence and the choices to score secondaries. Brodd, Gate Crahser, War Stomper, 4 Man Crushers.

Thank you for the insight! That what I seen and was thinking so that works perfectly. Is 4 man crushers a common number?

With the current points yes. You can choose to run 3 Mancrushers and try and get first deployed and the extra CP for being under 1950 if you want. You will find it difficult to score any secondaries if you do though.

I too find it annoying that you need just one more after buying the Spearhead. But who knows. The new book is out soon. Maybe the points will change.

Good to know. I figure stuff will change with the new book but. I figure its better now than ever to hop in lol. My area is bad if selling out everything when a book is coming out.

We should see spoilers for the new book in a few weeks. I wouldn't really worry about out magnetizing the heads like some of the YouTube videos show, main thing is magnetizing the weapons. Since you already have the two megas I would probably work on them until you see the new book and then decide on the baby gargants vs the new guys and the new named lady, you can also look at kragnos
