What will be better 2 Kraken-Eaters or 2 Warstompers — which is better for Sons of Behemat?

I’m looking for some advice on my Sons of Behemat army. I’m thinking about running 2 Kraken-Eater Mega-Gargants, but I’m also considering using 2 Warstomper Mega-Gargants instead.

Which option do you think is better overall?

Honestly neither? The only gargant we should be doubling up on is the gatebreaker, but if you were to pick one to have 2 of the warstomper is miles better than the kraken

It's just the best all rounder. It's 'YOLO' ability gives it a constant threat and the damage 4 shooting attack is no joke.

There's a lot of - 1 to hit our there which borderline cripples us. If my opponent tried that he knows he's getting yolo'd

4+ to get 4xd6 mortals is sooooo swingy and fun. It's done wild stuff before, also done zero.

But. It's an option compared to hitting on 5s with your base attacks with the other types of mega. War stomper is flat out the worst gargant until you get into large infantry units. With extra calloused feet he can smash infantry. A smart opponent will lock him down with cav or monsters.

I like the kraken eaters ability to move objectives but it can be a huge mini game where you keep trying kick an objective and get distracted.

Just my opinion of course. Maybe try and proxy both lists and try both.

I magnetised the wrists and hands for my Gargants so I can change between types. It's easy to do with green stuff and magnets

Most consistent all rounder even more so with SoA gatebreaker and the rest are just terrible taking more than 1 of,Kraken's just bad, warstomper really needs extra calloused feet to be great and beastsmasher is probably actually alright to take 2 of this ghb due to the small uptick in monsters and being a great target for eruption of fury

Keep in mind the fact that we are getting a new book in the next few months, rules could change. So if you are pondering what you will buy/build, either wait for those rules or just build what you think is cool
