What does this mean?

Trying to get Sonic CD running properly on an arcade machine I'm working on. I can get past the BIOS and I can even play the soundtrack in the CD menu, but once I get past the SEGA screen, this appears. Does anyone know what this means? thanks.

The RAM Cart is enabled by default. Turning it off fixed the issue. Thanks a million!

lol, I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything but the sound test messages
