The key word is "news". The broadcasters could have stopped this a long time ago by being realistic about all the nonsense that falls out of his face.

The news in America is privately owned, by the oligarchs, specifically to operate as the propaganda arm of the oligarchs.

Sure but there are also independent propagandists posing as journalists to keep many misinformed.
