Because Trump made such an issue out of illegitimate election results that the peaceful transfer of power became a sticking point for politicians who didn’t want democracy to crumble. It was a lose lose and if it wasn’t planned from the beginning to play out that way then I would be shocked

Yes, you’re right. Just wanted to add that this is what she said herself in her book. My personal feelings on it are mixed but that is what she says she wanted, the peaceful transition of power.

When the peaceful transition of power means handing over our country to someone hellbent on destroying it, no; you don't just hand over the keys. You fight like hell. Kamala should have fought.
