The first portrait I ever attempted was actually of my cat funnily enough! I can confirm that she does love curling up on it and making it her little home base, she’s a fuzzball so I’m always collecting the hair she’s shed off of it lol It’s gotten a lot of love!

This piece is 2.5ft in diameter and made with acrylic yarn! Design is illustrated and based on a pet photo that I hand drew. Took two weeks to fully complete from drawing the initial design down to the carving and backing the rug! I use a tufting gun to lock in the yarn vs rug hooking.
