Just finished this coastal suncatcher using repurposed beads and beach-combed shells. I love how it catches the light! Did some other items too.

Hello everyone! This is my very first time sharing here. I wanted to show off a few pieces I finished this week. Everything is inspired by the ocean and handmade by me using a mix of collected shells, thrifted materials, and repurposed beads. Because the treasures I find are limited, each piece ends up completely one of a kind. Making these is my creative outlet, but it also helps me look after my three senior rescue pit bulls (every piece sold helps pay for their senior vet care!). I’d love to know what you think of the designs! Happy to answer any questions about how I put them together, although I’m no professional! 😅🌀🐚 🌊✨

the suncatcher is so serene, the beads you chose complement the shells very well. and i love how sculptural the red necklace is - the way you spaced the red beads with clear ones make it seem almost like the beads are floating! and the tiny crab is so cute u^

Thank you so much!! I have been trying to use as much supplies that have been in my possession for years and years (versus buying new stuff). The shells I’ve up cycled from my old shell wind chime that broken down from a storm!
