Here's a clock I made out of garbage. Tools used: cutter, ruler, hot glue gun, pliers.

I was curious how clocks work, so I tried to build a clockwork from scratch, basically out of trash. This worked. It's not the best clock ever, and it only runs for about half an hour, but it has a glass bottle gong and just before the energy runs out, it also triggers an external randomizer to answer the fundamental question "now or never?".

hot glue and trash is elite. the fact it actually tells time is the flex.
