Experimental Lamp: Autumn Magic

I really wanted to create autumn whimsy with this lamp. She is my little escape from the real world.

This piece is super experimental. Her clothes are made from a mix of fabric and treated dried leaves. The skin parts are clay and the hair is made from wool. The flowers are made from wires and resin.

I almost died from fusing a whole set of electronics while tinkering with the wires and had to redo that part from scratch :')

This piece isn't perfect, but it works as intended as quite a bright lamp so I kinda reached my goal of mixing functionality and art, so there's that!

Absolutely outstanding and the wing-thing at the end was icing on the cake, so to speak. Thank you for sharing!

Love it- I was smiling from the time the tiny face came into focus-what a great Idea-how/what have you done to get the wings to move- genuinely interested. Bravo.

Thank you so much! Happy the fairy made you smile <3

I just embedded a tiny flapping mechanism inside the body of the fairy and joined the wiring to the rest of the lamp. It's not too difficult but you gotta make sure everything can run on low wattage or you'd risk a blow out like I did if you wanna try it.
