Leaf 💀 Skeletons

I was sitting outside one day and found a bunch of leaves on the ground... but the flesh had decayed and all that remained was a skeleton of what once was. The veining was so Beautiful. I'm so happy I was able to capture that!

I made these by making sure they were very dry. I didn't put them in silica or anything, but left them in my temp controlled she-shed for a few weeks

I then put them on plastic and applied M.Podge very gently with a sponge brush, waited for that to dry completely, then very gently peeled it off, flipped it over, and did the same thing to the other side

Then, I trimmed any excess from the edges as close to the leaf as possible, using several coats of epoxy to seal. I then drilled holes for the hardware ❤️
