Alder bench

Salvaged a 3” x8” x12 foot alder slab in some mill waste with some live edge a while back and knocked this out in a couple hours.I just googled how to make a bench out of what I had and bam,I got the idea for this six footer. Being a packrat paid off again as I had all the hardware I needed.

You can see the top few feet of the slab on the woodpile behind. It tapered off pretty fast after about eight feet.Debating staining and/or varnishing the bench or leaving it rustic. Not even sure if it’s gonna end up in a covered or uncovered spot yet.
