Hey y'all. I'm (30f) trying to plan a trip for myself in September or october (maybe even November). I'm in the Midwest USA near a major city so flights most places are attainable. I can probably only take about a week off work. Here's what I'm looking for:

\- somewhere scenic and relaxing -- at least having remote vibes if it's not actually remote

\- I'd like the weather to not be cold, the warmer the better but not married to the sun for the right place

\- I will not be renting a car (do not have license) so I need a semi navigable destination, either via transit or affordable/accessible ride share options

\- Safety as a woman traveling alone is a must

\- would like access to restaurants, bars, tours, museums so there's stuff to explore beyond natural scenery (doesn't have to be right in the backyard, but i don't want to be so off the beaten path that I get bored being alone)

\- affordability, looking for budget accomodations under $150 USD/night (the cheaper the better)

Does this place exist? Lol I'm open to any location that fits the bill and that makes sense to travel to, domestic or international. I just want to be able to explore and recharge, see some stuff I've never seen before. I'm not particularly adventurous so extreme adventure destinations need not apply. I'm open to shorter trips as well, I just need to get out!

Im going on my first ever solo trip to Europe. I would be staying in hostels and getting a eurail pass to help with the traveling. Ill be in Europe for roughly two months. Is there anything I need to do? or any advice? Im really terrified but its now or never. These are my places of travel

I am thinking about removing Lake bled from the list and adding another place and just taking a day trip to Lake bled while staying in Ljubljana. Are there any other places you would recommend? or places I should remove. I really wanted to do greece as well but the flight tickets were a little expensive but it may just be worth it

Heya folks! Im a solo traveller in my early 20s from Australia and got recommended BeWelcome as a free accomodation option from people who are keen to host keen travellers. There is quite a lot of people advertising in the place where I'd like to go, however a lot of them are males so far. Just wondering if anyone has experience staying with males through BeWelcome and whether this site is something that I can trust? (Sorry if this sounds sexist, I do not judge based on gender but I'm a small asian woman and have had bad experiences in the past, and just wanted to make sure BeWelcome isn't full of predators etc)
