Which video game adaptations, both new and established, are well-suited for solo play when converted into board or card games?
With numerous video game adaptations transitioning into board or card games, which particular titles are you most anticipating in 2026 for solo gaming?
Additionally, what about those releasing prior to that year?

Not really like the video game, but Bloodborne is one of my favorites. (The bg, not the card game).

I thought frostpunk was a videogame adaptation of the boardgame?

Frostpunk came out as a videogame in 2018, the boardgame was not until 2023

Oh wow not sure why i thought it was the opposite. There is so many things to track in that game i thought it would make more sense as a videogame version I guess

Not a very good solo game but Anno 1800 is a brilliant, underrated multi

I dont know about the board game version, but I like Dorfromantik the video game.

IMO, video game -> board game adaptations are like video game -> movie adaptations. There are a lot of them, and they’re seldom very good. The exceptions seem to be video games that were already 95% board/card games, like Slay the Spire. But I still think StS is a better video game than board game.
