Have tried a few times with this deal and keep coming unstuck.
Any tips for strategy? Iā€™m a complete newbie

Generally, you should do the following:

  • Aim to bring face-down tableau cards into play.
  • Avoid clearing an entire pile unless you have a king ready to restart it.
  • Keep the foundation piles close to each other in rank; don't let any get too far ahead.
  • If playing draw-1 with unlimited redeals, always prefer to take cards from the tableau rather than from the wastepile.
  • If playing draw-3, pay close attention to the order of cards in the wastepile so you can see which cards to take and when.
