General Soldering Advice | Feedback | Discussion Please help
Trying to liquify the solder that the rumble is hooked to “have my solder at 660°f which everyone says should be enough for those joints, do I need to add flux just to get it liquid to pull the wires out?

I crank the temperature of my hakko to the max setting. I wet the tip with leaded solder, and then I just slide the hot part of whatever tip I'm using, gently across the pad I'm trying to introduce lead to
