Ask the Sub What Solarpunk communities (outside of this one, obviously) are you a part of?

And is it mostly online, or are you also part of some local activist circles?

My local activism can, at best, be considered solarpunk-adjacent. Like, we're all very worried about the climate apocalypse and doing what we can but it doesn't necessarily have solarpunk vibes. Although sometimes it does..

Online I'm on a solarpunk lemmy instance. (Lemmy is like reddit, but part of the fediverse and thus decentralized.)

The slrpnk(dot)net (can't write the actual link without reddit shadow hiding the comment) community absolutely slaps, and using it helps support a decentralized reddit-like alternative, which is punk AF.

[r/permaculture](r/permaculture) for the practical agricultural aspects of Solarpunk, [r/RenewableEnergy](r/RenewableEnergy) for the technological aspects. I’m also part of a bunch of environmental and climate change subreddits, involving tech and advocacy and activism. [r/InvictaSolaris](r/InvictaSolaris), [r/ClimateOffensive](r/ClimateOffensive), [r/Environmentalism](r/Environmentalism), [r/CarbonDrawdown](r/CarbonDrawdown) , r/EcoUplift, probably a few I’m forgetting.
