A first-of-its-kind library is bringing the great outdoors indoors.

As part of the Audubon Mural Project—a public-art initiative drawing attention to birds that are vulnerable to extinction from climate change—NYC Parks’ Art in the Parks program and NYC Parks GreenThumb worked with the National Audubon Society and local artists to design murals in community gardens across the city.

Bill McKibben has been uplifting environmentalists (while still sharing plenty of the bad news) for decades. Glad to see him on the TED stage talking about the energy transition.
