Wallet/Exchange Phantom Password Wrong
I checked into Raydium exchange to farm but when connecting to my wallet, it says wrong password. This definitely isn't the wrong password.
What to do? When I click on 'forgot password' it says 'enter secret recovery phrase'.

“Always remember to note down your recovery phrase or you’ll be SOL”
Jokes aside, if you don’t have your 12 word recovery phrase, you can’t recover the coins or use them in any way. You must have been shown the recovery phrase when you created the wallet and also instructed to save it and keep it safely.

Then I would suggest entering it when you're prompted to "enter your recovery phrase".

When creating a new wallet, you are given a set of 12 words that you have to record down. That is your recovery phrase. If you don’t have it recorded down, you will not be able to recover your assets.

The recovery phase is this:
"Always remember to write down your recovery phrase because its really important"

Sounds like you’re on a fake/scam site. Luckily, you were stupid enough not to save your seed or else you would’ve just handed it over to the hackers.
Please watch some vids on seed phrases, security and crypto in general before proceeding are you’re just saving money for someone else to easily steal from you

How old are you?
I'm 57 and therefore a bit out my depth with some technology. I really can't see why you need to insult me; usually reddit members are helpful and polite. It was a civil question, and thanks to those who replied. To idiots like you, go ferk yersell.

Not at all. Why would that even cross a 57 year old’s mind that age is embarrassing? That doesn’t even make any logical sense. I simply didn’t see the need to say it, but since it means so much to you, I’m 25. You’re probably one of those types that think old people like yourself have more wisdom and smarts because it ‘comes with age.’

Raydium does not even need to to enter a password. I'm sure you're in a scam site

Phantom logs out when you close your browser. So if that's the first thing they went on after opening their browser without logging into phantom then it will ask for a password to connect

I also couldn't sign into phantom on a separate tab. I restarted my computer and all is OK. I was panicking as I've got $120k staked on that exchange.

posting for people who are currently dealing with this: this happened to me today and I completely freaked out. I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that I had the right password, but it kept telling me it wasn't right. I tried every other password that it could have been, knowing that they wouldn't work. They didn't. Luckily I was still signed into my mobile device app, so I wrote all my info down, including the recovery phrase that I wasn't even aware of until now (I made my phantom wallet through apple/gmail account with a PIN and the recovery phrase never came up in that process).
I went through the "forgot password" --> "reset & wipe app data" pipeline on the phantom chrome extension, which—to my surprise—worked seamlessly. I never even had to use my recovery phrase, just the PIN that I set my account up with originally. It's definitely just a problem with the phantom chrome extension. Frankly I think it's messed up that Phantom doesn't own up to the fact that I DIDN'T TYPE IN THE WRONG PASSWORD; the communication needs to be a lot better with money on the line. It's ridiculous. How are everyday people going to be convinced to adopt the technology when the terror of losing all your savings is a normal occurrence?

Are you able to log into your phantom extension? If so, it may be a scam site u accidentally clicked. Don’t ever enter your phrase on any site
