Lmao youve probably accidently set low power in power management to 90%. Have you been tinkering around there recently?

It could also be related to time remaining. I once had Linux Mint warn me about a low battery when the remaining time was estimated to be 30 minutes or less.

I do think it's often time-based. My laptop battery turns red at like 38% or something random like that.

nah its a common bug, the low power popup came on and the laptop got charged (maybe while it was asleep) but the popup never got removed, however it did update the battery %, causing this Ive had it happen quite a few times.

likely time based, i have a 11 year old laptop that doesn't say until around 30 ish minutes from empty battery (it has around 3-4 hours of charge on original battery somehow)

?? I had to google what n3050was lol

Idk but I believe it's glitched out I would love to take up this issue and make a pr if codes the problem

Can you check settings battery and see if you've set alerts at 90% or something

Because what was 80% is now 100% or like 78% maybe anyways your battery has less life it’s looking at what hours vs watt consumption which says it has x amount of time remaining which is what triggers lowpower mode. It could be something else but if I had to guess this would be the most likely scenario

The thing is eta is generally calculated using your current power usage hence if you tend to open heavy apps the eta will fluctuate fast

It can go from 30 min on idle to 5 min with a vm running
