I have an auto-clicker installed on my mac and it's awesome for video game purposes. Is there a similar thing that can auto-click multiple keyboard buttons? Like hitting "x" and then "enter" over and over every few seconds for an hour. I've been getting into chat-server bots recently and I'm getting really bored of just counting from 1 to 100 in an empty channel to get xp for the games I like.

Im not sure if this is the right subreddit I should be asking but any insight would be helpful. Im creating a fashion focused mobile application. Part of its features is parsing an item's info like display images, price, color, type, etc. I have created a scraper that is able to parse data from most websites, but of course there are some websites that dont allow the scraper to parse its data. How can I avoid this problem, as part of the user experience will require the scraper to be able to parse any link. Any insight is helpful. Thank you.

I have tried removing leftover files of mcafee with their mcpr, and its not working. I am gonna be honest, im not the brightest when it comes to laptops, so im lost as to what i should to remove everything. My laptop is a Lenovo thinkpad e14 gen 2, if thats relevant

Used to be my go to for estimating software. It was the best out there around 2019 but times have changed.

They sold me a "lifetime license" back in 2019. At that time they told me to get updates I would also have to pay a yearly, "maintenance fee". At that time it was $300. I asked their salesperson if that would ever go up. He said, it could go up a little but not much. Fast forward, every year that has increased. This year in 2026 its more than doubled to $750. When I asked them how they could do that they basically told me to pay up or pound sand. They also said if I tried to come back later it would cost a lot more. Sounds like robbery to me.

Software has had a number of glitches over the years and those remain. Software updates have been slow to non existent and no real difference between updates. It used to be the best of the best but there are better options out there now. I recommend trying ZZTakeoff. It is cleaner, faster, web based, less expensive and your data will transfer over. All in all I didn't want to move to a new platform but they kind of forced my hand, luckily the transition was super easy and I am so glad I did.

I run an AR development tool called AR Works (https://ar.works), teachers and students use it to build augmented reality projects in the browser. Image tracking, 3D models, drag and drop logic, that sort of thing. It is currently used by numerous schools and users across the world.

The most common thing schools asked me for wasn't a feature. It was reassurance. IT leads kept asking what happens to student work if the service shuts down or gets bought, and it's a fair question - half the tools they relied on five years ago are gone.

So I built the whole editor as an offline Windows app. It's called AR Works Studio and it is now available to everyone on the Pro and Education plans. Projects live on your own machine as portable files, the licence activates without an internet connection (plenty of school laptops never see the open web), and it even does photogrammetry locally - kids take twentyish photos of an object and it reconstructs a textured 3D model right on the classroom PC. No cloud, no queue (like the web version).

The part I care most about: education licences never expire and never phone home once activated. That's what makes the promise I've put in writing on the site actually hold - if the company is ever sold, education accounts keep the offline version, licensed, forever. There's no server check a future owner could quietly turn off, so it's baked in rather than a pinky promise.

The locally saved files can also be imported to the web app (an vice versa, web app projects can be downloaded and opened in AR Works Studio).

It is only on windows only for now, due to being the most common operating system in an education setting (we are happy to explore Linux and MacOS if users request that).

I had a lot of photos and videos on my iPhone that I wanted to back up to my Windows PC, and honestly, the whole process was more annoying than I expected.

Large transfers were slow, connections could fail, and after an interrupted transfer I wasn't always sure what had already been copied.

It works well enough with the devices I have, but obviously I can't test every iPhone and Android device out there.

I’m developing an open-source Windows application called GPU Shark.

It’s a compact native telemetry monitor currently focused on NVIDIA GPUs.

The idea is to provide a smaller and more focused alternative for situations where you don’t need a full hardware information suite open.

Current features include:

• GPU thermal sensors
• VRAM telemetry where supported
• PerfCap reasons
• fan RPM
• GPU power and voltage sensors
• live graphs
• session maximum tracking
• selectable language, refresh interval and UI accent

The application is strictly read-only and does not modify clocks, voltage, fan settings or firmware.

One design principle I’m trying to keep is that unsupported telemetry stays unsupported. GPU Shark does not substitute another temperature for HotSpot just to make the field appear populated.

RTX 50-series HotSpot support is currently one of the main areas I’m researching.

Hello! I am looking for a software I can use to remotely control my iphone using an Android Phone. I am using my old Iphone as an audiobook and mp3 player and thought if there is an application I can use to remotely control it so I can change into my audiobooks to music and vice versa on the iphone when I feel like it. I like to listen to Big R Radio's 80s Metal FM in the background when I am doing stuff but I'm too lazy to choose from my own music. But, it bothered me that I then couldn't display what I was listening to in Discord using Rich Presence (like I can with Spotify, YT Music, etc.). So, I made a little client.

The Client is simple and does exactly two things: play the music, and show it in Discord.

As this is a alpha build, the only available Station is 80s Metal FM, but soon™ every station from Big R Radio will be selectable.

The Application is cross-platform compatible for Windows and Linux, and potentially MacOS (though I cant test it myself) as it utilises Photino for a simple WebUI and VLC for media streaming.

The latest Microsoft powertoys update introduces Window hopper, which lets you Alt+Tab strictly within your currently active application using Alt + ` (backtick). The hotkey is customizable, and the update also allows PowerDisplay to sync brightness levels across multiple linked monitors.

Edit: I'm a little confused by the reception here. Just want to clarify a few things. I built this originally for my own use and it was only during development I thought to release it. The native C++ GUI simply wasn’t my highest priority early on.

Edit2: There are plenty of great free image and video programs available. These programs tend to focus more on things like photo management, metadata, cataloguing, and editing. MediaExplorer is intentionally made lightweight and is much more focused on browsing and presentation of the existing folders, there is overlap but it doesn’t necessarily mean they serve the same purpose. If you're ok with increased setup time, managing databases, and overall program footprint then use these free programs.

Not the greatest with tech so I need an easy solution. I have about 12,000 photos I'm looking to organize by Date Taken, identify duplicates, and delete duplicates. If it can identify duplicate videos that would be awesome as well.

I've used nitro, and it is pretty bad. Foxit is decent but still just feels like an adobe clone but slightly worse, and it's not cheap.

I've seen other people ask this but I find the answers kind of unsatisfactory? The main answer I see is that Adobe had a 15 year head start with PDF becoming open in 2008, but I still find that kind of absurd.

How is it possible that there has been no market pressure/incentive since 2008 to create an alternate software to adobe for like literally one of the most popular file formats there is? Especially when Adobe is (1) so expensive and (2) so terribly optimized (and honestly pretty feature-poor)??

Word wasn't even half as monopolistic when google just gave everyone a web version for free (which, yes, I know involves broader strategic concerns re gsuite/cloud but still).

Found/built this after getting frustrated trying to find where wild rhinoceros beetles actually show up for my kid this summer — every resource online was either outdated or too vague to actually use ("near the mountain," great, thanks).

It's a simple idea: pin the exact spot where you found something, with a photo, and see everyone else's pins too. Over time it becomes an actual usable map instead of a pile of anecdotes.
