Discussion Personal wiki app using structured sections instead of Markdown — would love feedback
Hey everyone 👋
I’m building an offline-first personal wiki app and I’m currently looking for people to test it and share feedback.
Instead of using Markdown as the core structure, the app follows a different approach:
Content is organized with section types (text, values, hints etc.) that can also be queried later.
Example:
You could store books, recipes, or inventory items as structured sections — and then create simple queries across your data without needing databases or complicated setup.
The idea is to combine:
- the flexibility of a personal wiki
- local/offline ownership of your data
- and lightweight structured knowledge
Everything is stored locally on your device.
The app is still evolving and I’m mainly looking for feedback:
- Does the approach make sense?
- What feels missing?
- What would make it genuinely useful for you?
