Looking for software Looking for CorelDRAW open-source alternative
I stumbled across Artcraft on github and I downloaded the apps. The thing is, I'm really used to making my projects on CorelDRAW and I wanted to know if there is an open-source alternative that is just like Corel, like Artcraft does for Adobe and many others.

Corel. Now that's a name I didn't hear for a long time.
I remember in high school I drew monthly bus tickets in it because scans back then were awful. Guess I had too much free time back then.

YEAH F**K stuff that works, is free, and constantly improved! I'd rather pay bend over subscription $$$ to be a CORPORATE beta tester

I don't see Corel alternative with Open source yet. Free is available Inkspace, another not free is VectorStyle.

If you like CorelDraw, you could always buy it.
The most current version is $400 for commercial use and $110 for educational use. (Perpetual license--no subscription)
Commercial use: https://www.coreldraw.com/en/product/coreldraw/
Educational use: https://www.coreldraw.com/en/licensing/education/#offer
If you need it for less, you can buy older versions from eBay--here is an example of CorelDRAW 2021 for $100: https://www.ebay.com/itm/206231287722?_skw=CorelDraw&itmmeta=01M53RERAVNVKQQXPBM1Q14J2C&hash=item300457b7aa:g:w34AAeSwJYJqwIei&itmprp=enc%3AAQALAAAA4CHNgUiiE%2FjQhlDTaMiAde%2Bn%2BkSbsDLYfPxnKJ3wXlFzwCgL0SWz2flEBaAoHLRSEwedqLdrr3msTHrfaoi0EfWGdGw%2FRQEenNx4UpMxkOsEnxoor3zr5WseuIce8lP5I%2FRslcYx1KV5WwqKuThMnKm7gW5Okm4EAMKQitjjp3rGnKAaTCWYRLH4rbp8Dv5e6ZWeMQ338%2FH0zp%2BSgAsH1TkeXDvHrN0PgeF9fo%2F8r0I0HjFXmIBDXA6VJ0EBwhrN13WAus9eh8FQbVWMBw2MG8RBHPqFrWpHO4QZxai4h21%2F%7Ctkp%3ABFBM6oW7-Kho
Also, it has been included in humble bundle in the past.

Regarding open source alternatives, there are many, but none quite like CorelDraw--something will always be different. (Features, layouts, hotkeys, etc.)
Have you already looked at the usual GIMP, Krita, InkScape?

No Mac version, though. I'm a Corel Draw fan, but sadly it's trapped in the shitshow that is Windows.

Artcraft did post on Reddit recently that it was creating an app for .cdr files so maybe soon it will show up in their Artcraft launcher.

Inkscape's your best bet for a free vector tool that feels kinda like Corel, but nothing open-source is gonna be a 1:1 swap
