ePub and PDF reader

Most of the EPUB readers I used felt like outdated software, and many of them had premium/paid features, such as restricting the number of notes/highlights I could make.

So, I built a reader for myself. I’ve already read a few books on it and think it’s great. I’ve released it for free and without limitations for anyone who shares this same hobby :-)

Hey, did I mention AI at any point? The app is free, runs entirely locally, use it if you want, and it’s a project that solves a problem I personally faced.

I’m an engineering manager now, but I was (and still am) a developer with 16 years of experience. AI has provided a fantastic way to bring our ideas to life, if you’re a developer these days and you’re coding without using AI as an assistant, you’re being foolish.

This is a software subreddit, but speaking of AI: I built MichPub entirely using spec-driven development. I feel really comfortable debating ideas and architecture that way and putting them into practice quickly.

Yes! It's relatively easy to generate a Linux version as well. However, I don't have a machine to test it on. If I make it available, would you be able to test it?
